Brother Victor Franco Meeting the Young
Lasallian Corps of Universitas Katolik De La Salle Manado
The brief visit of
Brother Victor Franco to Universitas Katolik De La Salle Manado from last
January 25 to 30 was such a privilege to the Lasallians in the university,
especially the students. After delivering a colloquium to the students and
staff on the 26th, and meeting the Signum Fidei on the 27th, Brother
Victor inspired the Young Lasallian Corps (YLC) members with inputs
throughout a whole day meeting on the 28th.

Received 90 sets of IBM Computers from Australia
On Friday 6 January De
La Salle Catholic University (DLSU) of Manado has got packet of computers
from the Lasallian brothers of Australia. The computers were a result of
the visiting of Bro. Ambrose Payne, FSC (the chief of lasallian brother of
Australia districts) to DLSU a few months ago.
Currently, DLSU
have had 3 (three) computer labs, however, since the increasing number of
total students of DLSU, it has been realized that those facilities are not
enough to accommodate all its students needs for computers.
As Ir. Noldi Watuna (the
dean of engineering faculty)said with smile “ the additional of 90
computers at least our students will not compete with other students from
the other faculties to get into the computer labs”.
